The Lord says, "To be a friend, you must show yourself friendly." That is what "Friends Nite Out" is all about. These wonderful people do not only talk about being your friends, they put actions into their words. They are a gift from God to Jack and I. Life truly is hard, but would be a lot harder if they were not in our lives. We could all learn lessons on "unconditional love" from these friends.
Paul tells us in Philippians 2: 3-4: "Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit, but in humility consider others better than yourselves. Each of you should look not only to your own interests, but also to the interests of others."
These friends of ours do exactly that. They always think of others first.
What an inspiration to us and an encouragement in our own work and ministry.
So, if you're lacking in real, true, trustworthy friends.........Be a friend by showing yourself friendly.
A friend of mind signs out her emails with this quote: "Life isn't about how to survive the storm but how to dance in the rain." With friends like ours, we are able to dance in the rain..
Praise God for friends............and, "Please Lord, make me friendly."

The joy of friendship is immeasurable. I truly believe God gives us friends that "stick closer than a brother." Some friends have so much love to share that it overflows to others whether it is Christmas or other times in the year. This group just overflows with love the whole year round and it is expressed in laughter, giving, love and prayer all year long.
